Analyze Results

After completing the Volumetric Study workflow, you can visually analyze and quantify the results from your uncertainty study using the Analyze Results tool (Study > Volumetrics > Tools). Using this tool, you analyze the outcome of multiple realizations of multiple designs, combined across multiple concepts and numerous parametric uncertainties using various plots. The results of the selected study are visualized using the dedicated Analyze Results View. You can view the results in tornado + single parameter sensitivity (SPS) charts, probability density function (PDF) and the complementary cumulative density function (CCDF) plots, and Grouped Pareto plots. You can open multiple, dedicated views to analyze results for each volumetric study.

Important  The Analyze Results tool uses the inputs from the Volumetrics Study workflow to plot the results for selected observables, concepts, designs, uncertain parameters, regions, and boundary definition. To display results that are consistent with the inputs settings of the selected study, do not change the inputs for the volumetric study that you want to analyze. An error message is displayed if you change the input settings and you must run the study again to fix the error.

Displaying results for the volumetric study

  1. Select the Study that you want to analyze from the drop down menu on the form.
  2. Click Apply to open a dedicated analyze results view that shows the results for the selected study. You can keep the form active to display results for another study or click to Close to exit the form.
  3. Click OK to close the form and view results for the volumetric study in the view. For an explanation of the controls of the view, see the Analyze Results View.
